Matthew 6:19-21

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

    It’s a bit ambiguous what treasures in heaven are, plus it sounds like you can accrue much of it. Besides letting the lordship of Jesus rule in our hearts, is there more that I’m missing here?

    To me it feels like He is talking about do not love anything you cannot take to heaven with you. Store up what you love in your heart and bring it with you.
