She asked me recently about scripture and divorce, thinking Martin Luther instituted that divorce was acceptable. I am not sure if she was kidding or really thought that. I wonder how many know anything about scriptural treatment of divorce. Her question seemed so far off, I wasn’t sure how to respond.
