Matthew 5:27-28

You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.

Note: These verses elaborate on Matthew 5:20 regarding righteousness that “exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees”. Definition of “lustful intent“.

    For males, this cuts to the core and shows where a lot of evil desires lie. When God says guard your heart, he is giving “life-saving “ advice.

    I dispensed with this simple lustful intent business and went straight for the full blown sin. I don’t do anything part way.
